The purpose of the research was to investigate the relationship between physical activity and social and economic situation of the disabled women in Tehran. The present research includes applied studies in terms of purpose and includes correlational designs in terms of the method of collecting and analyzing so-called research design. The population for this study includes 180 thousand people of all disable women covered by welfare organization in Tehran. Using Morgan Table, 400 members were selected. This tool for gathering information of this research was a set of two questionnaires including the questionnaire of the level of Sharkey Physical Activity Index (1997) which the reliability of the questionnaire was reported 0.87 and the questionnaire of social and economic situation was standard that the reliability of the questionnaire was reported 0.84. In this study, descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used to analyze the data. In the method of descriptive statistics, to describe the sample variables, the calculation of the frequency, mean and percentage is obtained and in the inferential section, correlation method, frequency distribution tables and charts can be obtained. The findings showed that whatever the amount of age (r = -0.810) and level of education (r = -0.824) of the disabled are increased, their physical activity is reduced and vice-versa. Also, whatever the economic situation of the disabled is increased, the physical activity is also increased (r = 0.804). The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the physical activity of the disabled woman and the social and economic situation.
